Why you should never allow yourself to be interviewed by the police

In this video, a law professor and a former police officer explain why you should NEVER allow yourself to be interviewed by the police about a crime.

Contrary to popular wisdom, the Fifth Amendment was designed to protect the innocent, not the guilty.  The rationale is that, if the police interrogate a person - with the all the stress and pressure that entails - even an innocent person will eventually say something that can be used to help convict him/her.
